MANGALDAI, Feb 18 – Rinku Basumatary of new Model Sports Club, Udalguri struck twice in his team’s 2-0 victory against Orange Club of Dimakuchi in the final of the Red Horn Football Tournament played at the Chapai Nehru Maidan here today.
The championship was organised by the 65 Field Regiment of Army based at Chapai, Mangaldai under operation Sadbhawana. Altogether eight teams from Darrang and Udalguri districts took part in the meet. Lt Col Ajit Bora and Major Vishal Saxena gave away the prizes in the closing function. Assam Tribune
