Alok, Arumanshu, Rizwana advance into finals

GUWAHATI, March 27: In the 19th Foundation Day Celebration All Guwahati Tennis Championship today, Alok Tripathi beat Abhinanshu Borthakur (6-1), (6-3) and Arunanshu Borthakur beat Sabir Hussain (7-6), (5-7), (6-3) in the semifinal of the boy’s U-18 category .
In the girl’s U-18 category, Rizwana Begum overcame M Hazarika (6-0), (6-1) in the semifinal. In the boy’s U-14 semifinal, Santosh Acharya beat Abhinash Kaushik in a walkover.

In the girl’s U-14 section semifinal, M Dutta beat Amrita Nath (6-2), (6-1) and M Hazarika beat S Bora (6-0), (6-1). In the girl’s U-14 doubles final, Marisha Dutta and M Hazarika beat the pair of Himaran Basumatary and S Bora (8-1).
In the boy’s U-12 semifinal, Raunak Bora beat Khyatee Baruah (6-1), (3-6), (6-2). THE SENTINEL
