Bopanna-Qureshi exit from Estoril Open

Estoril (Portugal): India's Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan bowed out of the Estoril Open men's doubles tennis.

The top-seeded India-Pakistan pair went down to third-seeded American Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Rojer of Netherlands Antilles 2-6, 4-6 in the semifinals here Saturday.

Butorac and Rojer play fourth-seeded Spaniards Marc Lopez and David Marreo in the title clash.

Devvarman, Bopanna lose

Delray Beach (USA): There will be no Indian competing in the singles event of the Delray Beach International tennis championships as both Somdev Devvarman and Rohan Bopanna failed to make the main draw, losing their qualifying matches.

Bopanna made a first round exit, losing to American John Isner 2-6, 1-6.

Devvarman went down fighting 5-7, 4-6 against America’s Ryan Sweeting. — PTI
