GUWAHATI, March 30 – Assam won eight medals, including four gold in the Sub Junior National Women Boxing Championship held at Calangutt in Goa from March 25 to 30. Pinki Kachari, Anjali Musahary, Sanashree Brahma and Minu Basumatary were the gold medal winners while Hangma Basumatary, Susmi Gorh and Queen Basumatary clinched silver medals for the State team. Suman Munda was the lone bronze medal winner of the team, informs Assam Boxing Association secretary Hemanta Kalita. ASSAM TRIBUNE
