Assam play Vidarbha in crucial Ranji tie from today

GUWAHATI, Dec 7: Assam will take on Vidarbha in a crucial Ranji tie from Tuesday at the Nehru Stadium in Guwahati. The match is equally important for the both teams as they have 10 points each till now.

Assam vice-captain Dhiraj Goswami, who was out due to injury will likely make a comeback in the playing eleven. Assam coach Subhrajit Saikia said, the host will go for the five points from the match to book a place in the knock-out stage. He also added, if won the toss, Assam will try to post a big score on the board and put pressure on the opposition thereafter.
