B Barooah to face Pragjyotish in final of College Cricket

GUWAHATI, Dec 2: B Barooah College entered into the final of the Second Lauhapurush Premada Kanta Sarma Inter-College Cricket Tournament defeating West Guwahati Commerce College by 44 runs in the semi-final held at the Latasil ground here today. Elected to bat first, B Barooah College scored 150 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Pallab Kumar Das (41), was the top scorer. In reply, a fine spell from Abuddin Khan (3-8), forced Guwahati Commerce College to complete their innings for 106 runs. In the final, B Barooah College will now face Pragjyotish College which will be held tomorrow. Pragjyotish College got walk over against SB Deorah College in the other semi-final. THE SENTINEL
