GUWAHATI, Jan 22 – The Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre (GCCC) have made it to the title clash in the Ramesh Baruah Invitational Inter Club Cricket Tournament.
In the day/night first semifinal played at the Judges’ Field here last evening, GCCC posted a deserving 43-run victory against host Gauhati Town Club.
Put to bat first, GCCC riding on some good scores by Nishanta Bordoloi (59) Pallab Das (46), Hrishikesh Tamuly (29) and Sanzow Brahma (28) gathered a commendable total of 234 in the allotted 45 overs losing eight wickets. Studded with some leading medium pacers of the State like Sujay Tarafdar and Pritom Das, the GTC team hardly had any impact on the GCCC batsmen. ASSAM TRIBUNE
