NEW DELHI: With the IPL Chairman and Commissioner, Lalit Modi, stating in Mumbai on Friday that Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Asif had been banned from IPL and it was for “other Boards” to see what further action could be taken, the suspension issue has got more clouded.
“Our rules govern our tournament. Whether there are other implications, that’s for other Boards to see. As far as the IPL is concerned, Asif has been banned for a year.THE HINDU
