FCI, RS Academy earn full points


GUWAHATI, March 3 – Defending champions Food Corporation of India (FCI), Delhi and their city mate RS Academy earned full points in today’s matches of the Airtel All India T20 Cricket Tournament.

In two well-contested encounters at the Nehru Stadium here today, FCI earned a five-wicket victory against Radial Club of Nagaon while RS Academy edged out Bud Cricket club by seven runs.

Put into bat, Radial Club scored 130 in the allotted 20 overs and in reply, the FCI outfit gahthered 132 in 19 overs losing five wickets. Rajinder Bist of the Delhi team was adjudged man-of-the-match.

The second match was a close one as in reply to RS Academy’s 134, the local team managed to score 127. RS Academy bowler Amandip Sonkar received the man-of-the-match award.
