GCCC camp concludes

GUWAHATI, March 30 – The camp for fast bowlers, organized by the Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre (GCCC) on the occasion of its silver jubilee celebration at the Nehru Stadium here, came to an end today.

The 10-day camp was conducted by noted pace bowler of the State Gautam Dutta were 31 pacers from organizations like-host GCCC, City CCC, Navajyoti Club, Ankurjyoti Club, Bud Cricket Club took part.

Gautam Dutta, NCA level I coach and a leading wicket taker of the State Ranji team, taught about the technical aspects of the art of pace bowling. Addressing the players in the closing function today he urged them to work hard to fulfill their dreams. He said, the coaches can show the way but they are the players who have to complete the job. Noted coach RP Baruah also advised the players to analyse the technical sides of the game before applying on the ground. He urged the campers to follow the great players and always observe the actions thoroughly in TV. ASSAM TRIBUNE
